In the garden opposite Papi Joe’s house, there has been a massacre last week-end. Two plots are going to be built on, and apparently the old lime-tree and various other bushes would have been in the builders’ way, so they got the axe. Dozens of years for a lime-tree to grow and only a dozen of minutes to pull it to the ground.
