This new form has luminous lime-green leaves, so it makes a superb accent in a mixed or shrub border, particularly when teamed up with rich purple or plum tones. It can also be used in pots, or even to create an evergreen informal hedge. The relatively long, large leaves give the plant a tropical feel, but it has been bred to withstand low temperatures, so it is one of the hardier nandinas.
