Avec 9 336 habitants en 2022, elle est la 14e commune d&#8217;Ille-et-Vilaine. Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re de deux d\u00e9partements voisins, Redon est le centre de la communaut\u00e9 d&#8217;agglom\u00e9ration Redon Agglom\u00e9ration regroupant des communes
