The &#8216;papi Jo&#8217; activities are forks of the official H5P activities to be found <a href=\"https:\/\/h5p.org\">on the H5P site<\/a>.&nbsp;Those forks have two origins. First the frustration at seeing a number of bugs (some of them trivial) reported on the H5P forums, with fixes sometimes reported as PRs in the H5P github but never actually fixed over the years. Secondly, in the course of regular use of the H5P activities, the need for some new features emerged, again mentioned in the forums but rarely implemented in the core H5P libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please report any findings, bugs, etc. by email at <a href=\"mailto:joseph@rezeau.org\">h5p@rezeau.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In each of the sections below you will find the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A detailed documentation page of the H5P &#8216;papi Jo&#8217; activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Template H5P activity <em>which you can download and install on your own site <\/em>to be able to use the H5P &#8216;papi Jo&#8217; activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An H5P Interactive Book activity (<em>not<\/em> downloadable) containing many examples illustrating the special features of the H5P &#8216;papi Jo&#8217; activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A certain number of other examples (usually <em>not<\/em> downloadable).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Installation Instructions for all the H5P &#8216;papi Jo&#8217; contents<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The template h5p content (for <em><strong>each <\/strong><\/em>H5P papi Jo version) &nbsp;is the recommended h5p file to download to your computer and to upload to your own website (Drupal, Moodle or WordPress platform) in order to install the H5P &#8216;Papi Jo&#8217; libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e516f479958289623a0ca84c2532bbd6 wp-block-paragraph\">First make sure that the site where you want to import the papi Jo libraries is currently using the H5P API 1.28 (aka &#8216;new look&#8217;). This should be the case if you are using <strong>the latest H5P plugin version on WordPress<\/strong> (minimum <strong>Version 1.17.8<\/strong>) or if you are using at least <strong>Moodle 5.2<\/strong>. <br><strong>Not <\/strong>tested with Drupal 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>Reuse <\/strong>button located just at the bottom of each <em>template <\/em>activity.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then click the <em>Download as an .h5p file<\/em> link to download this content to your computer. Take note of the name of the file, something like <em>advanced-fill-the-blanks-papijo-23-23.h5p.<\/em> This file has an <strong>.h5p<\/strong> extension!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then go to your own website (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.drupal.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Drupal<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Moodle<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WordPress<\/a> platform) where you already have installed the H5P plugin, of course. For use with <a href=\"https:\/\/lumi.education\/en\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lumi<\/a> if installed on your computer, see below.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Create a new H5P content<\/strong>, and, at the top of the list of available contents, instead of clicking the default <strong>Create Content button<\/strong>, click the <strong>Upload <\/strong>button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then click <strong>Upload an H5P file<\/strong>, browse your computer for the H5P template file you have just saved, Click <strong>Use<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If all goes well, you should see the contents of the template file. You may also see a message &#8220;updated libraries&#8221;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save and View the template file. You can then delete it, you are set to create your own contents by selecting the HP &#8216;papi Jo&#8217; content in the list of available contents&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-red-color has-white-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-38ce3a9eb37ea7f6c05eeff0e9f0b8e3\">Instructions for Lumi Not available until Lumi has upgraded to Moodle API 1.28<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steps 1 &amp; 2 same as above<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the Lumi home page, under H5P Editor, click the START button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the menu on the left, click Open H5P File, browse your computer for the H5P template file you have just saved, Click <strong>Use<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moodle H5P Interactive Content external plugin<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have installed this plugin on your Moodle site (from <a href=\"http:\/\/(from https:\/\/moodle.org\/plugins\/view.php?id=1678)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/moodle.org\/plugins\/view.php?id=1678<\/a>|) then go to Site Administration | Activity modules | H5P | H5P Libraries|Upload Libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Warning<\/strong>.- The papi Jo H5P libraries are <em>not <\/em>official, they are <em>not <\/em>supported by the H5P core team. Install them on a test site and test thoroughly before installing on a production site. There is no guarantee of future updates nor of support. However, I will do my best to answer queries posted to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:joseph@rezeau.org\">h5p@rezeau.org<\/a>. <strong>Install at own risk!<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>How am I informed of new versions of the &#8216;papi Jo&#8217; libraries?<\/strong> There is no automatic &#8216;New version available&#8217; mechanism comparable to the official H5P libraries mechanism.
