The garden plan on this site was created with the Garden Planner software. At a cost of about $30 I have found it to be the best value of all similar software found on the Web. The majority of free garden plan designer software are disappointing while professional software can be quite expensive and full of features which I do not need. The software author, David, is easily available for solving minor problems or listening to suggestions for improvement. GP is a “must have” for any serious gardener.
The hotspot pins have been added on my garden plan with the WordPress, Image Map HotSpot plugin. I have heavily customized the admin interface to suit my particular needs.
