Leucothoe keiskei ‘Opstal16’, trade name Halloween was announced Best Novelty of this week held Dutch trade fair for hardy nursery stock GrootGroenPlus 2014 in Zundert (Netherlands). The judges of the Royal Boskoop Horticultural Society wrote in their jury report: “Innovative for its very narrow, elegantly arching leaves; these colour dark red in autumn and winter. Handsome and compact plants in an excellent and original presentation. Good addition to the range of shrubs that can be sold in autumn.”
