There isn’t much to do in the garden at the moment, except for watering the borders, still waiting for the rains to come.
The West border is going to be slightly enlarged (50 cm) in the Spring, so I have started to cover the lawn with cardboard, lawn clippings, compost, etc. It’s the so-called “lasagna method“. See for example
The blackbirds are delighted and merrily scratch and dispatch the clippings all over.
